Non-custodial Disclaimer

Z Fund Me is a non-custodial platform. This means that we do not hold or control the funds raised on our platform. All donations are sent directly to the fundraiser's Zcash address. We are not responsible for any loss or misuse of funds. Users are solely responsible for the security of their Zcash wallets and private keys.

We never hold, control, or intermediate your funds. Donations are sent directly to the organizer's Zcash Unified Address (UA).

Acceptable Use

Users of Z Fund Me agree to use the platform for lawful purposes only. Fundraisers must accurately represent their cause and intended use of funds. We prohibit the use of our platform for illegal activities, including but not limited to:

Fraud or scams
Money laundering
Incitement to violence or hate speech
Funding of terrorism or illegal activities
Any activity that violates local, state, or federal laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We may remove campaigns at our discretion if they are found to be in violation of our acceptable use policy or local laws.

Privacy Statement

Z Fund Me is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect minimal personal information necessary for the operation of the platform. We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

We collect minimal metadata to run the site. If an organizer provides a view-only key (UVK), it is encrypted at rest and used only to compute public totals. We never ask for or store spend keys or private keys of any kind.

About Unified Viewing Keys

A Unified Viewing Key (UVK) is a special key that allows read-only access to view incoming transactions to an address. It cannot be used to spend funds. When an organizer provides a UVK, we can publicly display the total amount raised while keeping individual donations private. This key is optional – campaigns without a UVK will show "Private (no public total)".

Z Fund Me provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or disputes that may arise from the use of our platform. Users assume all risks associated with using cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
